Welcome Kevin Wallace Training's First New Hire!

general info Jan 23, 2018

A little over three years ago, I left my full-time job with a Cisco Learning Partner (CLP) to venture out on my own and start Kevin Wallace Training, LLC. Since that time, the Cisco learning community has been unbelievably supportive, consuming my video courses, books, podcasts, YouTube videos, and blog posts.

Then, I was faced with a problem… a very good problem. The number of clients I serve grew to a point where I couldn’t continue growing the company, while still giving my clients an awesome experience. To overcome those growing pains, I recently hired my first full-time employee, who is not only doing a fantastic job helping out with client support, he’s a technical instructor you’ll be hearing a lot from this year.

So, in this blog post, you’ll get to know him a bit. His name is Charles Judd.

I’ve known Charles for several years and have been super impressed with his plethora of talents. Here are just a few high points:

  • He has a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science.
  • He’s a graphic designer.
  • He was a consultant with a network integration firm.
  • He’s already earned his CCNA R/S cert and is currently preparing for his CCNP R/S cert.
  • He has extensive training in IT HIPPA compliance.
  • He has experience with Cisco security products that far exceeds mine.
  • He plays the banjo (and just about any other instrument you can name).

If you’ve been following my webcasts, blog posts, and podcast episodes lately, you’ve heard me preaching the gospel of CCNA CyberOps. Specifically, within the next two or three years, it’s projected that there will be 6 million jobs in the cyber security field, with 1.5 million of those jobs vacant. With this overwhelming need for cyber security professionals, I’ve been saying for the last few months that getting your CCNA CyberOps cert is a must.

To help you get that cert, Charles’ first course will target the CCNA CyberOps exams. I’ll make the occasional cameo appearance in that course, but for the most part, this will be Charles’ creation, and I’m sure you’ll love it.

Lots more information about Charles’ CCNA CyberOps course will be coming out over the coming weeks and months, but for now, please join me in welcoming Charles Judd to Kevin Wallace Training, LLC.
